Greyson Chance sat down with the folks at Artisan News Service in the mists of the Waiting4U Tour to talk about selling out venues in New York City, Lady Gaga and Paparazzi.
After talking about some of Greyson’s most recent accomplishments, including performing for and meeting President Barack Obama as well as selling out venues in New York; Greyson was asked about the success of his first headline tour.
“To know that we sold out two New York shows, it’s incredible!” Greyson said. “Paparazzi, that was my kick start right there” Greyson added as he thanked and praised Lady Gaga and Ellen DeGeneres, two people who he credits for much of his success.
Greysons voice is on the cusp of changing and I feel that it is going to be very pleasant to listen to shortly.
Some of his new songs, ‘light up the dark’ and ‘Heart like stone’, will suit a mature young voice and his vocal power or soft melodic expression will be serious stuff. I don’t know if we are still mourning Freddy Mercury, or doing young Greyson an injustice by comparisson. Go to it young man.

I am so happy to see Greyson continuing to do so well.. This fine young man is so talented. He will growsmoothly into adulthood and be entertaining us for a long time. Greyson if you read this please know that older folks like me love and respect you. I pray that God will continue to bless you and your fine family. You deserve your success.
My opinion is that Miranda Cosgrove should’ve opened for Greyson Chance! He is an AMAZING singer, and he’s REALLy cute! <3 Greyson, I KNOW that you will go far in the music business! Keep performing!
