By now everyone has heard the hit single “Gangnam Style” by South Korean pop artist PSY. Gangnam Style went viral, praised for its catchy beat and PSY’s amusing dance moves. Although Greyson Chance is not known for his dance moves, he has busted one or two on occasion.
For no reason other then because we thought it would be very funny and entertaining, we put together this short video of Greyson Chance dancing Gangnam Style! Enjoy!
Greyson Chance has just released the new music video for his single Sunshine and City Lights.
The song, Sunshine and City Lights is about falling in love with your youth and staying young. When Greyson was writing the song, he was inspired by what he does with his friends back home and even being mischievous sometimes.
The video is about two Long Island kids sneaking out into the big city at night, having fun and being themselves. We think it’s perfect. What do you think?
For anyone that has followed Greyson Chance for any period of time, you know that in the past he was often dubbed “The Next Justin Bieber”. We’ve always disagreed with that statement personally because we feel he is different than the Biebs in so many ways. While both artists rise to fame may have been similar (as they both were discovered on YouTube), the similarities quickly become fewer and farther between.
These differences and what makes Greyson so unique are the topic of a recent editorial by Elizabeth Soh of Singapore Showbiz at Yahoo Entertainment. “Chance’s music is remarkably different from J Biebs’ hop-hop pop, coming off more like a hybrid of jazz singer Jamie Cullum’s pensive vocal style and Jason Mraz-esque folksy influences” says Soh.
No need for auto-tune, Greyson’s raw singing ability has carried him through his short career. Through it all though Greyson has remained true to himself and his fans. Greyson cares for his fans so much in fact that during a recent show his management bough pizza for hungry girls who were camping out for hours in long lines -a “gesture that blows Bieber’s ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ antics and diva behavior right out of the water”.

We follow Greyson as he takes over New York City! We meet the director of the Sunshine and City Lights video before checking out some of the scenes which will be featured throughout the video. From Broadway Street to nearly walking on water, Greyson covers it all as he works throughout the night to capture some amazing shots.

Greyson Chance shared with us the challenges of being a teen star on MTV Sessions in Singapore.
ON BEING A TEEN STAR
“There’s definitely pressure, whether or not I win awards,” says Chance. But he’s insistent that such music “awards don’t really mean anything to me. I’m more about my fans and my music.” On handling criticism, Chance says that he “(doesn’t) care if people don’t like my music. There’s a lot of people that do.”
WHAT HE’S LISTENING TO
Chance lists “the new Taylor Swift album (Red), Maroon 5’s new record (Overexposed)” as his latest “earworms”. What about the tracks that he plays on repeat? “I’m always listening to Amy Winehouse and Journey,” confesses Chance. “Amy Winehouse is one of my biggest inspirations. I really look up to her as a songwriter, as a musician.”
THE CRAZIEST FAN GIFT
When asked about the craziest gift he had ever received from a fan, Chance shares that he “got a retainer once, in Minneapolis.” He said he found the gesture “very caring. She was very sweet, she said, ‘Here’s my retainer to remember me by’.”
GREYSON CHANCE, REALITY TV STAR?
“Oh god I don’t know if I want to be on a reality show,” protests the singer. “I can’t do Beverly Hills Housewives (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), I can’t do the Kardashians.”
He pauses, then considers an exception for Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, a TV show centred on a child pageant contestant and her family. The show may milk all the “redneck” stereotypes for all it’s worth but its brand of humour is “from my neck of the woods”, laughs Chance; the singer lives in the Oklahoma countryside.
HE’LL VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA
Chance may not be at the legal voting age right now but if he could, he’ll certainly vote for Barrack Obama. “I’ll say this — I like the guy who got elected again,” proclaims the singer. “I’m very happy (that he won).”

Greyson Chance‘s new EP Truth Be Told Part 1 has officially been released in Asia and quickly ascended to number 1 on iTunes!
Although ’Truth Be Told Part 1′ won’t be released elsewhere until early 2013, fans everywhere can listen to all the songs now! Greyson uploaded the tracks to his official YouTube account so fans outside of Asia wouldn’t be left out! (Soooo sweet!) You can listen to the songs below!

What do cell phones, a bullet, Harry Potter, Tic Tacs, dry sugary mango’s and photography all have in common? Well, they happen to be among Greyson Chance’s favorite things!
We told you earlier this month that Greyson partnered with Everloop to bring us some behind the scenes footage as well as run contests for the fans. In part 2 of the series (just released), Greyson not only reviews fan submissions from the first contest and picks a winner but he reveals some of his favorite things!
Our favorite part of the video is the beginning bloopers in the studio! “Sally sells sea shells by the sea shore!” “Unique New York, Unique New York, Unique New York!”
Greyson Chance has been preparing for his upcoming Asia tour which is a little over three weeks away, but so are his Asian fans!
Enchancers from all over Asia have been taking to Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to welcome Greyson back. This will be Greyson’s second time in Asia but his first time headlining. Camryn will be joining Greyson on tour this time around.

Greyson Chance has been performing covers of songs since he was a young boy living in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is turning to his fans though for suggestions on what songs he should cover next, during his Asia tour next month.
Greyson’s most notable cover to date, launching his music career, remains his famous rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” which he performed at Edmond’s sixth grade music festival. Since posting that video on YouTube nearly two-years ago Greyson has covered a number of songs during his live concerts including Augustana’s “Fire”, Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” and Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory”, just to name a few.
Today Greyson told his fans on Twitter (all 1,742,000 + of them) that he is working on his set list for the Asia tour and would like suggestions as to what songs he should cover during it. You can help Greyson out by tweeting him suggestions, @GreysonChance.
