This Twitter update should be no surprise to any of Greyson’s fans… Greyon sent us an update (July 2nd) letting us know that he has been hard at work in the studio. Greyson told his fans that he has been working in the recording studio for a few days now and knows we are going to really like the new music he’s been recording. It’s great to hear Greyson has been working hard and can’t wait to hear the music!

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards will take place Monday August 9, 2010 on FOX at 8/7 central and Greyson will be there! Greyson Chance’s First Day at the Recording Studio

On June 28th Greyson Chance let us know that he would be heading to the recording studio for the very first time! This announcement really exemplified the fact that Greyson’s career is moving along in the right direction. This was the long awaited announcement that every Greyson fan had been waiting for!
On June 29th Greyson Tweeted about his experience in the recording studio, saying “Had a blast recording today!”. After a very long day at the recording studio Greyson added that he was tired and was ready to get a “long nice sleep”. Now we must await the next big announcement… album release date?
Greyson Chance Moves to Los Angeles to Record

Yup…that’s right, it’s official! Greyson Chance announced himself that he has moved to Los Angeles, California for two months with his family to record his first album. This is awesome news for all the Greysonaholics out there! If you are anything like me, you’re dieing at this point to hear what he puts down in the studio.

Greyson Chance Writing New Music

Greyson Chance indicated in a Tweet from June 16th that he had begun writing new music! This is pretty exciting news for Greyson Chance fans, leaving many wondering if he has begun focusing towards his first album? Greyson originally indicated that he was working on new material on May 16th, saying ” I am writing some new music! Hope it turns out into something..:)”
Greyson Tweets again indicating he had finished up some of what he had been working on saying, “Well the rain has stopped..the good news is during the rain I wrote some new stuff…:)”. Fans will have to wait and see what this “new material” will be for!
Lady GaGa Calls Greyson Chance

If you didn’t know, Lady GaGa is one of Greyson Chance’s biggest inspirations. So when Greyson went on the Ellen DeGeneres show for the first time he got the surprise of a lifetime. Ellen arranged for pop star Lady GaGa to call in during the show and Greyson had the opportunity to speak with her live on the show.
Ms. GaGa spoke with Greyson about his success so far and wished him the best of luck as his career takes off. She told Greyson that she thought he was “so talented” and urged him to “follow your dreams”. Greyson was very thankful for the opportunity to speak with Lady GaGa and had a huge smile on his face!
Greyson Chance Signed Signed by Ellen DeGeneres

We brushed on this topic in an earlier post but we wanted to make sure all of our readers know that Ellen DeGeneres has officially signed Greyson Chance as her first artist on the ElevenEleven record label. Ellen’s discovery of Greyson Chance inspired her to start her own record label and in turn sign Greyson as her first artist. Ellen stated that she had been thinking about starting a record label for a long time and the discovery of Greyson inspired her to pursue that dream.
During a recent interview with Ellen she said “I’m looking forward to working with Greyson on his first album, I’m looking forward to discovering more new artists”.
So what about the Interscope Records rumor? There have been several reports online indicating that Greyson had signed with Interscope records. While it’s official that Greyson will be on Ellen’s EleveEleven label, we believe that the possibility still exists he will also be signed to Interscrope or perhaps another major label. Maybe it will be Atlantic Records or what about Diddy’s Bad Boy label? Diddy was at one of Greyson’s performances on The Ellen Show…. who knows!?
I’m sure we will be hearing a lot more about the record label arrangement in the weeks to come, so stay tuned!
