Greyson Chance, Tips for a Fun Summer

Greyson Chance loves swimming, playing the piano and all things music!  These are Greyson’s three key ingredients for a great summer vacation!

Unfortunately for Greyson, he won’t have much time for splashing as the countdown is on to the August 2nd release of his debut album, Hold On ‘Til The Night.

Just today Greyson was back in Los Angeles, listening to the final edit of one of the new songs on the album, Look At Me Now. (Rumor has it, this is one of Greyson’s favorites!) — (Okay, it’s not a rumor, he told us!)

Greyson Chance Paparazzi One Year Anniversary!

Greyson Chance has come a long way since posting to YouTube, his performance of Paparazzi at the Edmond Music Festival.  Today, April 28th, 2011 marks the one-year anniversary of the video debuting and the statement “a lot can happen in one year” sums things up pretty well.

Greyson’s performance of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi went viral shortly after he posted it to YouTube one year ago today.  Once TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres to get a glimpse of the twelve-year-old superstar she invited him onto her show.  Greyson made two appearances on Ellen’s nationally televised show which led to a record deal with ElevenEleven and Mavrick/Geffen Records.

In the year since Greyson has met his idol Lady Gaga, been featured by national media outlets around the world, walked the red carpets of some of the most prestigious events in the music industry, released his first EP, gone on tour with Miranda Cosgrove, performed for (and met) President Barack Obama and is in the mists of headlining a tour with Cody Simpson; oh, and he’s about to release his debut album!  All in one year!

Greyson has a loyal fan following, evident with over a half-MILLION followers on Twitter and over 39 million views of his Paparazzi video.

Through it all Greyson has managed to keep his management team in check, doing things his way!

GreysonChanceWeb has been with Greyson from the very beginning and what a journey it has been.  We can only imagine what the next year, two years, three years and beyond will bring.  Greyson’s future certainly is bright and there is no slowing down!

Greyson Chance at the Kids Choice Awards

Greyson Chance was at one of his favorite award shows this evening, the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards!

It was all smiles for Greyson who has always watched the Kids Choice Awards on television back home in Edmond, Oklahoma. The awards were held at the Galen Center at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.

Greyson was joined at the awards by his future touring buddy and fellow teen singing sensation, Cody Simpson.  Cody will be touring with Greyson on the Waiting 4U Tour which will be kicking off in just days!

On the orange carpet Cody offered Greyson some words of wisdom about the show being that it was his first time at the Kids Choice Awards.  Greyson talked a bit about the upcoming tour and promises that his tour with Cody will be even wilder than the Dancing Crazy Tour which he wrapped up in February with Miranda Cosgrove.

While Greyson wasn’t up for a blimp (an award trophy) this year, we would put money on it that this won’t be the case in 2012!

Greyson Chance Performs at Perez Hilton’s Blue Ball Birthday Bash

Greyson Chance performed for Perez Hilton and his celebrity guests at Saturday’s ‘Blue Ball Birthday Bash’.

Perez Hilton’s Blue Ball Birthday Bash was all about fun, music and interesting outfits!

Stars that attended Perez’s party along with Greyson included the likes of Darren Criss, Debbie Gibson, Matty B and Macy Gray.   Selena Gomez even made a surprise appearance towards the end decked out in a stunning blue outfit from head to toe!

All eyes were on Greyson though when he took center stage and performed a few of his popular songs including “Fire”. 

After his performance Perez thanked Greyson for putting on a great show and told him, “You were awesome!”  We agree Perez!

Greyson Chance Coloring Book

Greyson Chance has his own coloring book… online!

Okay Greysonators, this is by far one of the coolest things we’ve comes across.  The creative folks over at HelloKids.com created a coloring book dedicated to Greyson Chance!

The online coloring book is complete with 10 recreations of familiar photos of Greyson.  You can either color Greyson online or print it out and break out some crayons! No matter what age you are it’s always fun to color!

Our colored photo (pictured below) is a recreation of Greyson at the MTV Video Music Awards!

Greyson Chance Video Chats with Fans Before Ellen Show Appearance

Greyson Chance hosted an impromptu chat with fans in the GC chat room before appearing on The Ellen Show to Dance Crazy with Miranda Cosgrove.

“I just wanted to thank you guys for everything you’re doing… all the support you’ve given me is incredible!” Greyson commented during the brief video chat session.  The chat session was unannounced so there weren’t too many people in the room but for those that were, it was a very special moment.

Greyson Chance Wishes Justin Bieber a Happy Birthday

Greyson Chance sent his birthday wishes to fellow teen singer Justin Bieber via Twitter today.  The Biebs is turning seventeen-years-old!  It seems like just yesterday he was discovered on YouTube.

Does Greyson Chance Have a Twin Brother?

Is Greyson Chance hiding a secret?  Does Greyson have a twin brother that he hasn’t told anyone about? Could this supposed twin brother really be the one playing at all of his shows?

The answer… Yea Right!!!

Apparently there was a rumor (we probably think it was more of a joke) floating around that Greyson has a twin brother that he’s been keeping a secret.  So to set the record straight, Greyson has two siblings: his brother Tanner (who he is not a twin of) and his sister, Alexa.  The apparent “secret twin” is none other than Mason Cook, an actor!

Mason has stared in television shows like Grey’s Anatomy and According to Jim and is starring in Spy Kids 4: All The Time in The World.

We must admit though, in a recent photo posted to his IMDB page he could definitely pass for Greyson’s twin (or at the very least, his brother)!

So there you have it!  Greyson does NOT have a twin… just someone that looks exactly like him!

Greyson Chance My Day My Life

Greyson Chance wakes up at 8am, digs through his suitcase to find clothes for the day, rushes through security lines at the airport, flys a few hours to his destination, attends band practice, gets wired up, then grabs a microphone before hitting the stage to sing his heart out; that’s all in a day’s work for the thirteen-year-old singing sensation who is on tour with Miranda Cosgrove.

In a new video just released by Teen.com we are invited in to a day in the life of Greyson, let’s just say that we were exhausted just watching it. 

Greyson talks about his experience on the Dancing Crazy tour with Miranda as well as his journey to get there. It hasn’t even been a year since the teen singer was discovered by Ellen DeGeneres on YouTube and he’s already on tour!.  Greyson jokingly commented, “If someone were to come up to me and told me where I was going to be today I would probably slap them in the face and say: don’t say that.. you’re going to get my hopes up!” 

Well Greyson, you are here today and we are so thrilled for all you have accomplished!
