The Magazine Best of 2011 Features Greyson Chance

Greyson Chance is among the top 10 best artists of 2011 according to ‘The Magazine’.

The Magazine is a monthly digest entertainment magazine targeted for youth and published in Canada.  The publication has been in existence for over ten years!

They awarded Greyson the #7 spot, beating out artists like Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and even Greyson’s own “mate”, Cody Simpson.

“This young singer (Greyson Chance) definitely made his mark on 2011, releasing his debut album in August, touring with fellow popster Cody Simpson and appearing in the season premiere of Raising Hope.”

Where In the World are Greyson Chance Fans?

Greyson Chance has developed quite the fan following in just a couple years.  The fourteen-year-old singer is selling out venues across the world and has racked up over 1 million followers on his Twitter account, not to mention the tens of millions of views on his various YouTube videos.

Last year we researched what countries have the largest fan base of Greyson Chance Fans.  We put together a list of the top ones based on the visitor site statistics of Greyson’s biggest fan site, Greyson Chance Web.

Well, we thought it was time to update that list for 2011!  Again, while these statistics are not necessarily a definitive or scientific method of saying which countries have the largest Greyson Chance fan base, it certainly gives us a good idea of where in the world people are searching for and supporting him. (And it’s fun!)

Greyson Chance Canada Trip Recap (Video)

Greyson Chance recently took his first trip outside of the United States to Canada and we have a complete recap of his trip, complete with a brand new video!

The main purpose for Greyson’s Canadian trip was his scheduled WeDay performance where he performed his rendition of Augustana’s “Fire” for over 18,000 screaming fans. After the performance Greyson said, “I just performed for WeDay, it was incredible”. 

Aside from the WeDay concert, during his visit Greyson appeared on Canadian teleivison shows and completed interviews including one with Liz Trinnear from MuchMusic.com.

Overall Greyson had a blast in Canada and commented during his trip about how much he loves it there.  “I’m really digging Toronto, there’s parks and trees everywhere but you still have the big city and I’m really excited to be here and I love it!”.

At the end of this video there is a a promo for Greyson’s single (Waiting Outside the Lines) which will be released tomorrow!  Be sure to pick it up, you know we will!

Greyson Chance Performs at WeDay10 (Video)

Greyson Chance performed at the 2010 We Day Celebration and absolutely killed it!  Just when you thought you couldn’t experience any more chills from this teen singing sensation, Greyson hit the stage at We Day in Toronto this morning and put on a show for the history books.  Surrounded by thousands of screaming kids attending the event, Greyson took the stage and stole the show with his performance of Augustana’s “Fire”.

Saying Greyson is a natural on stage would be an understatement because after watching the performance it looks like this teen idol has been performing for years.  Greyson really got the crowd into it throughout the performance and you could tell he was having a blast with the smile that was on his face throughout the concert.

Here at Greyson’s #1 Fansite, we realize that not of all his dedicated fans may have been able to catch his live performance which streamed online, but no worries!  We recorded Greyson’s performance and uploaded it for your viewing pleasure!
