Greyson Chance stopped by ClevverTV earlier this month to talk about his upcoming television appearance on ‘Sonny With a Chance: So Random‘ but he also discussed his touring experience with Miranda Cosgrove.
You probably recall that Greyson joined Miranda on the Dancing Crazy Tour last month. Greyson is now gearing up to hit the road once again, this time with Cody Simpson on the Waiting4U Tour so it was a perfect time to talk about what the thirteen-year-old singer learned on his first tour and reflect on some of the experiences along the way.
Greyson thought his first tour was “so incredible”, it was an “amazing tour” and the fans were “rocking out” at every show!
Greyson recalled that a normal day on tour would consist of him waking up early and taking a shower around 6:00/7:00am. After breakfast he would head out for an early morning television appearance and then go back to the hotel for a short power nap. In the afternoon Greyson was all business with either school work and/or more promos. Finally in the evening he would head off to the venue where he was going to perform for sound check and then actually do the show. After the show it was more promos before heading back to the tour bus to drive to the next city! (Phew!)
One of the things Greyson said that was unexpected about touring was the fact that it was so rewarding but it was extremely tiring. Greyson said that he learned how to control his voice on tour and save it for when he needed it. Miranda was a great mentor to Greyson on tour, teaching him the ins and outs of performing on stage.

Greyson Chance Talks Touring with Miranda Cosgrove on ClevverTV!
Greyson Chance is just weeks away from kicking off the Waiting4U Tour with fellow teen singer Cody Simpson but in a new video released today by Cambio Connect we get to hear what his first tour was like with Miranda Cosgrove.
In this episode of Cambio Connect Greyson said that the Dancing Crazy Tour with Miranda Cosgrove was awesome. As far as Greyson’s favorite city he had the opportunity to visit on tour, that would be Arizona because he performed for free and the theater was packed with screaming fans.
(New York was another favorite!)
Greyson’s favorite song to perform on tour is his single, Waiting Outside The Lines. He sees this song as an anthem of sorts where the crowd really gets into it.

Greyson Chance took the stage with Miranda Cosgrove for a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.
Last night Greyson Tweeted, “On my way to Ellen, I am gonna be Dancing Crazy!” We did a little research and found out that Miranda Cosgrove was scheduled to perform her hit single “Dancing Crazy” on an episode of The Ellen Show which would air today. Based on Greyson’s latest Tweet we had a hutch that he would be performing with her (as he did on the Dancing Crazy Tour) so we set our DVR’s and waited.
Miranda began her performance with her band and backup singers but no Greyson! (Maybe we were wrong?) Nahh! During the second half of the song Miranda said “Give it up for Greyson Chance!” and bam! There he was! Greyson took the stage, sang along with Miranda and danced crazy! Greyson was energetic and really got into the song!
During the interview with Ellen DeGeneres afterwards, Miranda talked about her experience with Greyson on tour. Miranda said that one night Greyson pranked her tour bus along with his band which was pretty funny but otherwise he always behaved himself and was a “perfect gentleman”.

Greyson Chance spent some time chatting with Adam Wurtzel of We Live FM on February 13th after performing in Westbury, New York.
It was Grammy night when Adam caught up with Greyson backstage in his dressing room while he was on the Dancing Crazy Tour with Miranda Cosgrove. This was actually Adam’s second interview with Greyson; if you haven’t already, be sure to check out his interview from last August.
During the interview Greyson brought Adam up to speed on the very latest and talked about things like what celebrities he’s met, his opinion of Lady Gaga’s new single and even disclosed some of his pre-concert rituals. Greyson also told us what some of his favorite foods on tour are: Pop Chips, Gatorade and M&M’s. Waiting Outside The Lines (Greyson’s debut single) as well as his unreleased album and his fans were among other topics of discussion.
One of the coolest parts of the interview was the “Your Favorite” segment where Greyson was asked a series of rapid fire questions pertaining to his favorites!

Greyson Chance and his former tour partner, Miranda Cosgrove appeared together in a recent episode of ‘The Seven” which airs on MTV!
MTV caught up with Greyson and Miranda on The Dancing Crazy Tour. Miranda had some really nice things to say about Greyson. “Right when it (his paparazzi video) first came out I was like “wow” he’s extremely talented!” Miranda recalled during her interview.
We went inside Greyson’s tour bus and had an opportunity to see where Greyson lived, slept and ate for a month on the road. “I feel like I’m on an episode of cribs” Greyson said as he was showing us his fridge stocked with water, red bull, ketchup, soda and other condiments.

Greyson Chance was at the Mall of America on January 25th to perform a handfull of his most popular songs and for a meet-and-gree with some of his biggest fans.
It’s a story that we originally reported on back in January but a new video of the days events has just been released to us and posted on Greyson’s VEVO account. In this behind-the-scenes video we get to climb aboard the tour bus with Greyson, checkout some backstage shots of him at a local news station as well as get a more in depth look into his Mall of America concert. We also got to checkout some of the awesome fans that were on hand for Greyson’s concerts in Minneapolis; there were a TON of them!

Greyson Chance wrapped up the Dancing Crazy Tour with his latest performance in Anaheim, California on February 24th.
The month long, cross country tour with Miranda Cosgrove certainly ended on a high note in Anaheim. The final performance was held at none other then the House of Blues, this venue provided the perfect spot for Greyson to rock one final audience as part of his first tour.
Fans in attendance were treated to the usual “Greyson Classics” including Paparazzi, Broken Hearts and Fire as well as newer songs like Greyson’s unreleased Unfriend You and his hit single Waiting Outside The Lines.

Greyson Chance did it again! With only two shows left on the Dancing Crazy Tour with Miranda Cosgrove, Greyson rocked another packed house, this time at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona.
The February 23rd show started with the lights off, the theater was completely blacked out. You could hear cheers from screaming fans calling “Greyson!”. Suddenly blue lights illuminated the stage and Greyson’s band began to play but Greyson was nowhere to be found. The band played several ballads and then the lights went black again. A few moments later the stage was once again illuminated and BAM! there was Greyson, sitting at his famous grand piano.
Greyson proceeded to play his covers of Fire, Empire State of Mind and his original songs Unfriend You and Waiting Outside The Lines among others. Tempe was filled with some awesome fans who really got into the show and cheered Greyson on throughout it all.
There is only one more show left! Anaheim… here we come!

Greyson Chance made is long awaited return to The Ellen DeGeneres show today; he chatted with Ellen, performed his single Waiting Outside The Lines and even took some time to hang out with his fans!
Greyson has been on the road for about a month on the Dancing Crazy Tour with Miranda Cosgrove. He’s been traveling throughout the United States selling out venues and hitting the stage nightly living the rock star life. With the tour almost over he headed back to Los Angeles today to say hello to the person who discovered him and kicked started his music career, Ellen DeGeneres. The dynamic duo talked about the tour, Greyson’s upcoming album and much more!
The chat with Greyson and Ellen started off with the thirteen-year-old singer talking about the Dancing Crazy Tour. Greyson said that the tour has been incredible, says he’s having a blast and really enjoys seeing the fans jumping around in the audience and getting into it. One of the most insightful things Greyson commented on was the fact that he’s learning so much by being out on the road. He’s taking in everything he possibly can and learning from his touring partner, Miranda as well as his band and anyone else he can!
Ellen brought up the fact that Greyson’s single, Waiting Outside The Lines has been used on the hit television show, ‘The Good Wife’. Greyson talked about how he didn’t even know that his single was going to be used and was surprised by it one night on his tour bus. The chat wrapped up with Ellen congratulating Greyson and telling him how proud she is of all that he’s accomplished. It was then that Greyson took a seat at the grand piano and performed his hit single Waiting Outside The Lines along with his band as a pack of fans looked on, singing right along!
