Greyson Chance Supports Mindless Behavior

If you read the title of this article you’re probably thinking this is going to be about some big controversy involving Greyson Chance as he supports someone behaving recklessly or something along those lines.  Of course it’s not!

“Mindless Behavior” is another new group on the Geffen/Interscope record label, the same label Greyson is signed to!  Comprised of a young quartet, barely into their teens; singers Princeton, Ray Ray, Prodigy and Roc Royal hope to bring a new energy to the pop/hip-hop/R&B landscape.

If you recall, Greyson first met up with Mindless Behavior at Lady Gaga’s Concert in Los Angeles only a short time ago.  Since then it appears they have really hit it off and Greyson is backing them 100% as they work collectively to further their music careers.

Early this afternoon Greyson sent out a message on Twitter to his huge following (212,000+ now) letting everyone know Mindless Behavior released their single “My Girl” yesterday.  Greyson also adds in a link to the group’s iTunes account which we’re sure they really appreciate.

Greyson has been seen several times with artists on the Geffen/Interscope label (Clique Girlz and Justin Tranter) and we suspect that we’ll be seeing Greyson a lot more with his label mates in the near future.

Greyson Chance and Interscope Artists Go Gaga

Greyson Chance attended the Lady Gaga Concert in Los Angeles with a few new friends from the Interscope record label.

Yesterday we told you that Greyson Chance attended his second Lady Gaga Concert in Los Angeles, California.  This left some wondering, who did he go with? 

Sources told us that Greyson rocked out at the concert with fellow Interscope Recording Artists, Destinee and Paris (Clique Girlz) and newcomers, Mindless Behavior.  We now have a photo from the event to prove this true!

It’s awesome that Greyson is having some fun outside the studio with artists on his new record label, Geffen/Interscope.  This isn’t the first time young Greyson has been seen with the Clique Girls.  If you recall, he was backstage with Destinee and Paris at the Teen Choice Awards too! 

Interscope Artist Justin Tranter (Semi Precious Weapons) also spent some quality time with Greyson backstage at the concert, if you haven’t read that article, check it out!  It seems like the entire Interscope gang was on hand at the Lady Gaga Concert and it appears that everyone had a blast!

Greyson Chance, ElevenEleven with Interscope Records

Greyson Chance and Ellen DeGeneres’ ElevenEleven label goes with Interscope Records (Geffen Records)!

On June 1st we reported on Ellen’s announcement that Greyson Chance was signed by ElevenEleven records, a label she started after discovering Greyson on YouTube.  In this article we mentioned that there was a good possibility of Ellen’s new label establishing a partnership with a major record company such as Interscope Records.  At the time of this original article there were rumors all over the place that Greyson had signed with Interscope but most dismissed this possibility after Ellen’s announcement.  

Today we learned that our initial speculation was absolutely correct!  (Whoever started the initial rumor was kinda’ right too!) We now know that Greyson is officially listed on the Interscope-Geffen-A&M label group website as one of their signed artists!

The Interscrope-Geffen-A&M label group is an American record label owned by Universal Music Group.  The group operates under three labels: Interscope, Geffen and A&M.  As of right now there is no official confirmation as to which label in particular Greyson will be operating under although there are several reports it’s Geffen Records.  We knew it was just a matter of time before Ellen attached herself with a giant such as Interscope, being that her label is still in the infant stages of development.

With this announcement Greyson is now part of  one of the largest and most respected record labels in the music industry.  Greyson will be among artists such as Eminem, Dr. Dre, The Black Eyed Peas and his biggest idol, Lady Gaga.  Being a part of such a huge label also opens up the door for collaboration with these other artists.  Think about it, how amazing would it be if Greyson Chance and Lady Gaga did a song together!
