Greyson Chance Interview & Performance at Z100 in Portland

Greyson Chance stopped by the Z100 studios while in Portland, Oregon during the last leg of the Waiting 4U Tour.

Greyson chatted it up with Brett Andrews from Z100 about how he got started and the legendary Paparazzi YouTube video which launched him into the national spotlight.

Moving on to more current events, Greyson talked a bit about the process of working on his first album. Greyson says that he’s very involved with the process and is really into it all. By far the most exciting part of it all for Greyson is performing live and seeing his fans as they sing along with him.

After talking for a few moments Greyson takes a seat at a keyboard and plays his cover of of Empire State of Mind as well as his hit single, Waiting Outside the Lines.

Greyson Chance on Air with Johnjay & Rich

Greyson Chance stopped by the KissFM studios to chat with and perform for, Johnjay and Rich.

It was Greyson’s second time visiting Johnjay and Rich, the first time was back in February. The boys were eager to get Greyson back on the show because they were dieing to see him perform live, Greyson happily obliged.

During this visit Greyson chatted again for a bit but then he performed his hit single, Waiting Outside The Lines live on air. It’s amazing how great Greyson sounds… even on the radio!

Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson Take Over Radio Disney, Talk ‘Waiting 4U Tour’

Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson dropped by Radio Disney today and chatted with host Ernie D on The Take Over!

Sitting down for a “double trouble” interview, Greyson and Cody talked about there upcoming tour. Greyson promises that the tour is going to be “amazing” and Cody is excited for the fans to see two different sides of pop music.

During an interview with Bop and Tiger Beat following there on-air interview Greyson and Cody were asked a series of questions pertaining to the upcoming Waiting 4U Tour.

Q: You named your summer tour the Waiting 4U Tour. How did you come up with the name?
A: After going through hundreds of names they finally decided on “Waiting 4U” which is a mashup of Greyson’s “Waiting Outside The Lines” and Cody’s EP “4U”.

Q: We know you’re planning a super-secret duet on stage. Can you tell us some secrets about it?
Greyson and Cody are doing a cover of a song together. Greyson has done this cover before but Cody will be adding some “pizzaz” to it!

Q: You guys are great friends. Do you have a secret handshake?
No, but they’ll work on something! Greyson likes the handshake from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Q: You’re sharing a tour bus… did you name it!?
Yes they did! It’s called… The Party Bus! (Really!)

Q: How do you stay in touch with your other friends while you’re traveling and touring?
Texting, Skype, TinyChat and Facebook!

On a personal note Greyson let us know that he recently moved to the beach in Los Angeles; Cody is rather jealous, probably because he’s an avid swimmer.

During the show fans had the opportunity to call in and ask Greyson and Cody questions. One fan asked if they like to sing along with any songs in particular that aren’t theirs. Greyson said that when he wakes up in the morning he puts on a Temptations record and sings along with them as he gets ready for the day. Cody let us in on one of his hidden talents, apparently he can listen to a song 1 or 2 times and know all the lyrics so he often sings along with a variety of artists.

Greyson Chance on Radio Disney at ‘Mars Needs Moms’ Movie Premiere

Greyson Chance recently attended the Mars Needs Moms Movie Premiere and walked the red carpet along side his future tour partner, Cody Simpson. While on the carpet our friends at Radio Disney caught up with the teen singer and talked with him about his favorite songs, new music, Ellen DeGeneres and more!

Jake from Radio Disney had the opportunity to interview Greyson and brought up the fact that we are rapidly approaching the one-year anniversary of Greyson’s discovery. Greyson recalled that this realization recently crossed his mind and he thought to himself, “No it hasn’t been a year… wait… it has been a year… this is so creepy!” Greyson had this to say about commemorating this momentous milestone: “I think I’m going to go out, who knows what I’m going to do, I may do some dancing to celebrate!”

On the topic of dancing, if Greyson wanted to break out some sweet moves on the spot he said that he would rock out to “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga. If he wanted to “chill out” some Cold Play songs would definitely be in order.

A congratulations is in order for Greyson, Jake brought up the fact that his single, Waiting Outside The Lines has made the Top5 on Radio Disney. Greyson thanked his fans, who are the reason for his success.

As far as the future, Greyson said that we should expect to see the release of a new single soon as well as his debut album. Greyson Chance Video Chat with KIIS FM

Greyson Chance stopped by KIIS FM, one of Los Angeles’ biggest radio stations just before his last performance on the Dancing Crazy Tour.

Carly from KIIS FM kicked the interview off by talking with Greyson about his experiences on The Dancing Crazy Tour. Greyson said that going on tour with Miranda Cosgrove has been really fun and he enjoys watching the fans rocking out during the show.

Next Greyson talked about returning to The Ellen DeGeneres show and how he had the opportunity to hang out with Justin Bieber again back stage. Greyson was rather impressed with JB’s pool skills after watching him destroy his bass player.

Fans from all over tuned in to the live video chat and sent in questions via Twitter for Greyson.

Q: Do you ever get tired of people asking you to marry them?
Greyson: Of course not! Not to mention it’s illegal!

Q: Do you think one day you could marry a fan?

Greyson Chance Radio Interview from KissFM with Johnyjay and Rich

Greyson Chance stopped by the Kiss FM studio to chat live on air with Johnjay and Rich!

Johnjay and Rich dug into Greyson’s past at the start of the on air interview; Greyson talked about how he was discovered, Ellen DeGeneres and his famous YouTube Paparazzi performance. The radio personalities were stunned at the number of views (nearly 38 million now) on his YouTube video and couldn’t believe that he is only thirteen-years-old.

Greyson explained the meaning behind his hit single, Waiting Outside The Lines. Greyson explains that it’s a very relatable song; meaning that it can mean something to one person and something totally different to someone else. For Greyson, he was in Los Angeles for months recording his single and was lonely at times with all his friends back home. The experience at first was tough so getting through that time and transitioning to an artist is what it’s all about for him.

Greyson Chance Live Webcast with XL 106.7

Greyson Chance stopped by XL 106.7 fm on February 17th, before his Hard Rock Live performance in Orlando.

XL 106.7 opened up their awesome studio to both Greyson and his touring partner, Miranda Cosgrove. Greyson started things off by playing his hit single, Waiting Outside The Lines on his Yamaha Motif XS8 keyboard for an intimate crowd of fans gathered in the studio.

The floor was then opened up for questions from those in attendance.

Some questions asked included:

Does Greyson manage his own twitter account?
Does Greyson ever get nervous performing?
What kind of pets does Greyson have?
How does Greyson handle all the fame and attention at such a young age?
How did Greyson learn to play the piano?

The coolest part about the entire thing was that it was broadcast LIVE online and fans from all over the world were able to dime in and ask Greyson questions. When we say broadcast all over the world, we mean it! We saw saw fans from both Spain and France! Some of the questions asked of Greyson from the chat room included:

When will Greyson be performing oversees?
Who is Greyson’s favorite hero and/or idol?
Does Greyson have a girlfriend?
And so many more!!!

If you were unable to make the live broadcast, no worries! We were live in the chat room and were sure to record the entire session. Greyson Chance Interview on Wild 104.9 HD

Greyson Chance called in to Oklahoma’s Wild 104.9HD last week and talked on air with hosts, Heather and Joey.

Live directly from his hotel room in Brooklyn, New York, Greyson was “chilling” before his next performance but took some time out to talk about the Dancing Crazy Tour, his soon to be released album and an upcoming benefit show which is near and dear to his heart.

During the radio broadcast Greyson told us that the story behind his upcoming album is “very real” and is shaping up to be the record that he’s always envisioned.

Greyson expressed that he’s very excited for his upcoming shows at Santa Fe High School. All proceeds from these shows benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. “We’re going to raise a pretty good amount of money, it’s going to be great” Greyson commented.

When Greyson was asked how touring with Miranda Cosgrove was going, he said: “It’s been going really, really well and I’m having a blast!” Touring has been a little crazy according to Greyson but the whole experience has been “incredible”.

Greyson Chance on The Ralphie Radio Show

Greyson Chance made a special appearance on ‘The Ralphie Radio Show’ yesterday when he was interviewed on the road in Pennsylvania directly from his tour bus on the Dancing Crazy tour.

Ralphis Aversa from Ralphie Radio climbed aboard the Greyson Chance tour bus and sat down with the touring superstar to talk about things like YouTube, Greyson’s debut single Waiting Outside The Lines, his upcoming album and more!

During one point in the interview Greyson was asked if he would consider himself a “YouTube sensation”. Greyson responded by saying that he would consider himself a new artist, not a YouTube sensation. He sees YouTube as the platform that was used to ignite his music career but doesn’t think it defines him as an artist.

As far as Greyson’s highly anticipated debut full-length album, that’s about 60% done and we should expect to see it released sometime early this year; no definitive date as been set yet.
