Greyson Chance Invades School in Singapore

Greyson Chance toured through Singapore at the end of 2011 and we were just sent some great videos of his visit courtesy of 91.3FM.

The first video is of Greyson visiting CHIJ OLGC, an all girls school which won a contest on 91.3FM where the grand prize was a visit from none other than Greyson himself!  During his visit Greyson performed two of his hit songs, “Waiting outside The Lines” and “Unfriend You”.

In case you didn’t know, Singapore has a HUGE fan following of Greyson Chance fans!
(And we mean HUGE!)

In this second video Boy Thunder meets up with Greyson and the two sit down for an interview.  They talk about Greyson’s album “Hold on ‘Til The Night”, his music, dating and more!  The interview was taped the day before the performance featured above!

What would you do to get Greyson Chance to perform at your school?

Greyson Chance Talks with ClevverTV about Album and School

Greyson Chance is featured in another ClevverTV video just released.  In the new clip Greyson is seen back stage answering questions fielded from ClevverTV’s Dana Ward.

Greyson talks about his album, recording and school.  This video was shot back in August when Greyson was contemplating where to go to school.  Since this interview we learned that Greyson has enrolled in an online school which makes it convenient for him to work on his own schedule around recording and his other new responsibilities.

A summary of questions asked during the interview:

ClevverTV:  Can you describe your new album (with three words)?
Greyson Chance:  Unique, piano and authentic

ClevverTV:  Can you describe the process of recording with one word?
Greyson Chance:  Fast!

ClevverTV:  I know you are still like weighing your options for school and everything, but if you were to choose to go to a brand new school out here , how would you feel about it? Would you be nervous?
Greyson Chance:  No, I would be excited to meet new people.  I like having new opportunities

ClevverTV:
What kind of advice would you give to other kids who are going to start in a new school?
Greyson Chance:  Be yourself.  Don’t let other people get the wrong idea.

ClevverTV:  Three back to school essentials
Greyson Chance:  Lots of pencils, paper and a very big binder. I have one binder that I put everything in.

Greyson Chance Returns to School, Online

Greyson Chance is set to hit the books once again as the 2010/2011 school year begins; but the teen singer’s seventh grade venture will be a bit different than that of his peers.

It was only three short months ago when Greyson Chance was sitting in a sixth grade classroom at Cheyenne Middle School in Edmond, Oklahoma.  The teen singer (then twelve years-old) carried on each day like any other student; he attended classes, ate lunch in the cafeteria and played with friends after school before sitting down at night to do his homework.  As the  school year concluded though Greyson’s life took a 180 degree turn after performing his rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.  After stunning back to back performances and landing a record deal, the rest is history!

Fast forward three months, in the full swing of recording his debut album now, Greyson Chance has to be concerned with hitting the books once again.   Earlier today Greyson told us that he is enrolled in an online school which will allow him to remotely complete coursework through the Internet.  The focused singer has admittedly been slacking a bit in this department though;  Greyson indicated to us that while he was tweeting online, he really should have been studying!

We’re sure Greyson will get his schedule all worked out to allow time for school, after all, he’ll have to answer to mom if he doesn’t!  It just goes to show you that while most singers only have to focus on their music, Greyson has so much more he has to contend with, overcome and conquer.  For those that don’t know, Greyson’s favorite subject is English because it helps him with writing music.  As Greyson goes back to school we expect that this will only make him a better artist in the studio.

You’ll do great Greyson, rock on!
