Greyson Chance Sings National Anthem at Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball Game

Greyson Chance had the distinct honor of singing The National Anthem at game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Dallas Mavs.

It was a homcoming for Oklahoma native Greyson Chance.  Greyson was super excited to be back in his home state at the game.

Greyson took center court before the game and unleashed a killer vocal performance of our nation’s National Anthem.  We have no clue how he hit some of the notes which he did, it was superb.

We got the video of the performance from ESPN, you can check it out below!

Greyson Chance and Miranda Cosgrove “Dance Crazy” on The Ellen Show

Greyson Chance took the stage with Miranda Cosgrove for a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.

Last night Greyson Tweeted, “On my way to Ellen, I am gonna be Dancing Crazy!”  We did a little research and found out that Miranda Cosgrove was scheduled to perform her hit single “Dancing Crazy” on an episode of The Ellen Show which would air today.  Based on Greyson’s latest Tweet we had a hutch that he would be performing with her (as he did on the Dancing Crazy Tour) so we set our DVR’s and waited.

Miranda began her performance with her band and backup singers but no Greyson! (Maybe we were wrong?) Nahh!  During the second half of the song Miranda said “Give it up for Greyson Chance!” and bam! There he was!  Greyson took the stage, sang along with Miranda and danced crazy!  Greyson was energetic and really got into the song!

During the interview with Ellen DeGeneres afterwards, Miranda talked about her experience with Greyson on tour.  Miranda said that one night Greyson pranked her tour bus along with his band which was pretty funny but otherwise he always behaved himself and was a “perfect gentleman”.

Greyson Chance Performs in Kansas City, Premieres New Song

Greyson Chance wrapped up his first concert on the road in Kansas City, MO last night.

Performing for a packed house in K-City, Greyson performed some of his most famous songs including his original ‘Broken Hearts” and covers of ‘Fire” and ‘Paparazzi’.  Greyson also performed a new song off his upcoming debut album and sources tell us that that the name of this new soon to be hit is ‘Unfriend You’.

We just finished up listening to ‘Unfriend You’ and we’re absolutely blown away!  First off, Greyson’s band did a superb job!  During this piece Greyson was on his feet the entire time, away from his usual comfy piano seat.  It was awesome to see Greyson really get into the song and the crowd responded amazingly to it all.  ‘Unfriend You’ is sure to be a hit and we can’t wait to get our hands on the studio version of the song which we expect will be on Greyson’s album.

After the show Greyson sent us a message letting us know that he thought the first show went good and that Kansas City came to rock!  There isn’t much rest in Greyson’s schedule though, he’ll be performing in Minnesota tonight at the State Theatre following a meet-and-greet at the Mall of America at 4pm.

Greyson Chance Performs Paparazzi For Off TV

Greyson Chance performed for Off TV during his trip to Paris, France and we just got our hands on the newly released video.

Greyson performed his rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi”, the song which started it all for young Chance.  In the video Greyson is sitting down at a grand piano surrounded by an array of musical instruments.  In true Greyson style he starts of Paprazzi with a few musical chords which leads in to an absolutely stunning display of musical and vocal talent.

Greyson absolutely killed Paparazzi once again.  One word to describe this video: Amazing!

Greyson Chance Goom Radio Interview

Greyson Chance was Mikl’s guest on France’s Goom Radio today and we have complete coverage of his visit!

Mikl at Goom Radio sat down with Greyson (and a translator – Greyson doesn’t speak French) for what turned out to be a very interesting interview! Greyson talked about his first time in France, Justin Bieber (ugh, yes.. again!), Lady Gaga and more! The video from today’s interview was just released and you can check it out at the bottom of this article.

We’ve also gone through for your convenience and transcribed the entire interview below.

Goom Radio: Do you speak french Greyson?
Greyson Chance: I do not speak French actually.

Goom Radio: Is it your first time in France
Greyson Chance: It’s my first time in France, it’s my first time in Paris, it’s my first time in Europe!

Goom Radio: Everyone says you’re the new Justin Bieber, what’s the difference between you and Justin?
Greyson Chance: Well you know I love Justin, he’s a really cool guy, I actually met him at the VMA’s, had a cool conversation with him. You know, our music is really different, I’m more of an alternative, rock/pop-rock type of a thing like one-republic, snow patrol… some of my music actually sounds like muze on the record. Justin’s more of a pop/r&b act. For example, I’m preparing for my tour this January in the states so you know the show is no dancing, it’s like a rock show… I don’t dance but I move and he dances in his show. We are very different musically, I think people just compare us for the hair.

Goom Radio: You spoke to Lady Gaga on the phone on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, have you met her?
Greyson Chance: I’ve actually met Gaga a couple times now, yes. And I leave on Friday for London, I’m taking the train. I’m actually going to go on her show on the 17th in London.

Goom Radio: Are you single?
Greyson Chance: Uhhh… Yes!

Goom Radio: Justin Bieber was a guest on CSI, would you love to do that… be an actor?
Greyson Chance: I…I….No. I don’t think I’m ever going to act… unless it’s on Glee. I would only do something on Glee. I think I’m permanently music, I don’t think I’m going to go outside of music. Music is what I love, so why not just keep it that way?

Following the interview Greyson plays an acoustic version of his new single, “Waiting Outside the Lines” followed by his famous rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” as eager European fans looked on in amazement. Cameras in hand!
