Greyson Chance Interviewed about Girls, Music and Celeb Crushes!

Greyson Chance shared some intimate secrets with Popstar Magazine at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards this year and we just got our hands on the newly released video footage from that interview!

Popstar Magazine has done an amazing job covering Greyson Chance at all the major events as well as through interviews and photo shoots at their corporate offices. 

Most recently Greyson visited Popstar for a photoshoot, be sure to check out the exclusive behind the scenes footage!  If you’ve been checking out Greyson’s #1 Fansite for any length of time then you already know that Popstar has released to us several other videos featuring Greyson, including when the teen singer talks about his album, his Twitter account, his feelings on dating a fan, the Teen Choice Awards, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and girls!

In Popstar’s newest released video, we are taken back to the 2010 Teen Choice Awards when Greyson is interviewed about girls, his music and future plans. We’ve transcribed and summarized the interview below for your reading pleasure and added the video to the bottom of this article.

Popstar:  On a first date, what would you make a girl for dinner?
Greyson Chance:  Spaghetti!

Popstar:  What is your ideal first date?
Greyson Chance:  On the beach.

Popstar:  What is the first thing you notice about a girl when she walks into a room?
Greyson Chance:  If she is wearing makeup, that’s the number one thing.

Popstar:  Who would you like to work with in your music career?
Greyson Chance:  Of course Gaga (Lady Gaga), that’s number 1, but I love Hayley Williams, I love Pink, kinda that rock voice, I love it.

Popstar:  Who is your favorite celebrity crush?
Greyson Chance:  Scarlett Johansson or Dianna Agron from GLEE.

Greyson Chance Talks about Teen Choice Awards with Popstar Magazine

When Greyson Chance stopped by Popstar magazine recently, Lady Gaga wasn’t the only topic the young singer talked about.

As you probably recall, Greyson Chance attended the 2010 Teen Choice Awards and spoke with Popstar before the show on the green carpet.  During Greyson’s most recent visit to Popstar he told them that the award show was awesome and had a blast walking the carpet.  We learned that Greyson had the opportunity to meet David Archuleta and a few other stars.

Greyson Chance Talks with Popstar Magazine at Teen Choice Awards

Greyson Chance talked to PopStar Magazine on the green carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.

Popstar Magazine has been all over Greyson Chance recently.  In two earlier interviews we wrote about how Greyson told Popstar what he looks for in a girl and his feelings on being compared to Justin Bieber.  It looks like pop magazine followed Greyson all the way to the Teen Choice Awards as well!

In a video interview just released by Popstar, Greyson is asked a few questions about the award show and what he was doing before he arrived.  We’ve transcribed the questions asked for you below and have made the video available at the bottom of this post!

Who are you most excited to see at the Teen Choice Awards?

I really, really want to meet the Glee cast, that’s my number one goal tonight, it’s been a lot of fun, this is a really fun process; it’s been a blast already!

What did you do before you came to the award show, what did you spend your morning doing?

I slept in, very long this morning.  I know I’m going to have a long night tonight.  So I slept a lot!

What would you give away if you had an award show?

I think it would be a golden mic.  I’ve always wanted to see somebody with that.  I’ll take a surfboard though!

Fashion Faceoff, Greyson Chance vs David Archuleta

All eyes were on Greyson Chance and the other stars of the “green” carpet as they arrived at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards last night.

One of the most talked about topics of any award to show is of course, fashion!  The Hollywood Gossip recently featured Greyson in a match up against David Archuleta for best dressed!

Greyson arrived rocking a black v-neck longsleeve shirt (sleeves rolled up) layered over a plain white-t, a pair of dark colored Levi Jeans and of course, the converse shoes.


David showed up with a grey striped sports jacket over a plain white v-neck, blue rocker jeans and black Buckingham shoes.

The readers of The Hollywood Gossip seem to think David takes home the award for best dressed, but I’m not too sure.  What you think?  Leave a comment and let us know!

Shane Dawson Takes Home “Web Star” Award

Shane Dawson takes home the Web Star award at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.

We knew that Greyson Chance was going to have some stiff competition going into this years award show.  He was up against Internet stars: Charles Trippy, Fred Cruikshank, Shane Dawson and iJustine.

Greyson just let us know via Twitter that Shane Dawson took home top honors for the Web Star award.  Following the show Greyson congratulated Shane for winning and said, “It was an honor to even be nominate”.

It sounds like Greyson had a great time though.  Greyson commented, “The show was amazing!”

Shane Dawson has close to 2 million YouTube subscribers and almost a half a million Twitter followers.  Shane said shortly after the show, “I’m surprised.  I thought Greyson had that (expletive) in the bag!”

After Shane saw Greyson’s message congratulating him on Twitter, he responded by saying “aww thanks man. <33″.  It’s awesome to see the mutual respect that these two Internet stars have for each other.

The Teen Choice Awards will air tonight (August 9th) at 8/7c on FOX.

Greyson Chance off to Teen Choice Awards

Greyson Chance is headed to the Teen Choice Awards tonight!

A big thanks goes out to the Greyson Nation for casting your votes!  Greyson will be attending the taping of the Teen Choice Awards tonight and the show will air tomorrow night (August 9th) at 8/7c on FOX.

As we’ve said before, just being nominated for an award is an amazing accomplishment and Greyson should be so proud of himself.  With that said, we really, really hope he wins!

Voting has been closed at this time, so it’s all up to lady luck now.  Greyson is up for the web star award against fellow Internet stars: Charles Trippy, Fred Cruikshank, Shane Dawson and iJustine, all who have huge fan followings as well.
